Bruce has repeatedly distinguished himself through developing and implementing creative programs that have leveraged client’s products in new and exciting ways. In the 1990s, Bruce held the position of Director of Operations and President at Harrison Motorsports Corporation (HMC), a marketing and consulting business, which he founded in 1994. The focus of this organization was to perform various marketing functions for clients while utilizing motorsports and the automotive after-market as the primary marketing vehicle. In 1996 he also founded the Professional Racing Organization, Inc. (PRO, Inc.) and served as the Vice President of Operations. Under his guidance PRO, Inc. created and developed a unique auto racing vehicle, as well as the accompanying sanctioning body while leveraging General Motors Service Parts operation.
For the last six years, Bruce has been using his real-world experience to enrich the North American Powertrain and Component Databases for Global Insight’s (Formerly Standard & Poor’s DRI) as a Senior Consultant and Managing Technical Research Analyst in the Automotive Group. As a member of the Global Insight team Bruce was routinely called upon by many of the world’s major OEMs and Tier-1 Automotive companies to provide inputs as these organizations developed marketing and business plans. Most recently he developed a unique-in-the-industry marketing tool leveraging multiple, disparate resources for the benefit of a consortium of Tier-1 automotive companies. His strengths come from thinking outside the box to capture unique promotional techniques.
